NEWS AND INFORMATION
How to qualify for Post
Season!
Registered teams may participate in NSA
qualifying
tournaments. A team plays in a qualifying tournament
to
earn the right to participate in a post-season tournament.
To participate in a post-season tournament, your team must
qualify. A team qualifies by finishing 1st (World Series Berth
and State Berth) and 2nd (State Championship Berth) in a qualifying tournament. A team may qualify
from a lower
finishing position depending on if the teams finishing above
that team have already obtained the berth. Post Season
tournaments include State Championships
and World Series
Tournaments. A team does not have to
qualify for an N.I.T.,
however, tournament directors not familiar
with your team may
not allow you to participate in an N.I.T. unless
they can
confirm that your team is appropriate for the requested level of
play.

SEEDING FOR Men's State/NW Championships
Teams with the higher point total at State/NW Championships
(IE
#1 vs #3 - #1 has the option) for all games will always have
the
option at the plate meeting to be home or visitor -
Teams missing the managers meeting will lose that option for their first
game and/or possible subsequent games. So the more you
participate in
NSA events the more points you will earn. |
